PERMITTING SUNDAY SALES OF BEER AND LIQUOR
3-51-1 Authorization of Sunday Beer and Liquor
3-51-2 Authorization of Sunday Sale of Beer for Consumption off Premises
SECTION 3-51-1 AUTHORIZATION OF SUNDAY BEER AND LIQUOR SALES. Subject to the provisions of the laws of the State of Iowa, Iowa Code 2008, Chapter 123, any club, hotel, motel or commercial establishment holding a liquor control license may sell and dispense alcoholic liquor and beer to patrons on Sunday for consumption on the premises only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday and 2:00 a.m. on the following Monday.
SECTION 3-51-2 AUTHORIZATION OF SUNDAY SALE OF BEER FOR CONSUMPTION OFF PREMISES. Subject to the provisions of the laws of the State of Iowa, Iowa Code 2008, Chapter 123, any Class “C” beer permittee may sell beer for consumption off the premises between the hours of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday and 2:00 a.m. on the following Monday.
