SECTION 3-29-1 RESISTING AN OFFICER. It shall be unlawful for any person, within the corporate limits of this City, to resist, obstruct, or in any way interfere with a police officer or member of the Fire Department in the performance of any official duty.
SECTION 3-29-2 IMPERSONATING AN OFFICER. It shall be unlawful for any private citizen, within the corporate limits of this City, to adopt or wear on any street or in any public place, the uniform or insignia worn by the police force of the City; or for any person not a member of the police force or not a peace officer, to represent himself as or assume to be a police officer or peace officer.
SECTION 3-29-3 REFUSING ADMITTANCE TO OFFICER. It shall be unlawful for any person, within the corporate limits of this City, to refuse to admit the Mayor, or his designee, Chief of Police, or any member of the police force into any house of ill-fame, gambling, or other disorderly house or place in which or at which they have reason to believe a public offense has been committed or a nuisance exists, or resist or obstruct, or attempt to resist or obstruct such officers or officer while attempting to enter any such place.
SECTION 3-29-4 DRIVING OVER FIRE HOSE. It shall be unlawful for any person within the corporate limits of this City to drive or run over any fire hose except with permission of the Fire Chief or his representative.
SECTION 3-29-5 FIRE HYDRANTS, FIRE VALVES, MANHOLE COVERS AND SEWER GRATES. It shall be unlawful for any person, within the corporate limits of this City, to unscrew or take off the cap of any water hydrant, or in any manner meddle, tamper or interfere with any fire hydrant, or fire value except as directed by a member of the Fire Department, Public Works Director or City Administrator and, further that it shall be unlawful to remove any manhole cover, sewer grate, and sewer covers without approval of the Public Works Director or City Administrator.
SECTION 3-29-6 OBSTRUCTING, DEFACING OR INJURING STREETS. It shall be unlawful to willfully obstruct the free passage, or injure or deface public streets, highways, or alleys by digging or breaking or by placing objects in such streets, highway, and alleys, without permission from the City Council or the Director of Public Works.
SECTIOIN 3-29-7 OBSTRUCTING SIDEWALKS It shall be unlawful to willfully obstruct the free passage of or injure or deface sidewalks by digging or breaking or placing objects on such sidewalks without permission from the City Council or Public Works Director.
SECTION 3-29-8 ALLOW WATER TO DRAIN OR FLOW WATER TO DRAIN OR FLOW ACROSS SIDEWALK. It shall be unlawful for an abutting property owner to allow water from any eave or drain, or from any roof, to fall or flow across any public sidewalk or to fail to remove the resulting ice, and freezing accumulations from the sidewalks within 24 hours after forming.
SECTION 3-29-9 UNCOVERED HAZARDS. It shall be unlawful to create or allow to exist without adequate safeguards any cisterns, open wells, holes in sidewalks, or open excavations of any kind.
SECTION 3-29-10 USE OF BARBED WIRE PROHIBITED. It shall be unlawful for any person within the corporate limits to erect or maintain a barbed wire fence except to enclose land devoted to farming or except with permission of the City Council
SECTION 3-29-11 DISCARDED, ABANDONED, OR UNATTENDED REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS AND SIMILAR DEVICES. It shall be unlawful to place or allow to be placed, any discarded, abandoned, or unattended refrigerator, freezer, or similar container, equipped with air tight door or lid, snap lock, or other locking device which cannot be released from the inside, in a location accessible to children, either outside any building or dwelling, or within an unoccupied or abandoned building, dwelling, or other structure under his or their control, without first having removed the door, lid or locking device. This provision applies equally to the owner of any such refrigerator, freezer, or similar container, and to the owner or occupant of the premises where the hazard is permitted to remain.
SECTION 3-29-12 PLAYING IN STREETS. It shall be unlawful to coast, sled, or play on streets or highway except in areas blocked off by the Chief of Police for such purposes.
